Payroll Giving
EBOP Riding for the Disabled is registered as an approved IRD organization for Payroll Giving. Payroll giving makes it easy to donate as it comes out directly from your pay. The amount you wish to donate is chosen by you, and payments are set up by your employer.
The great part about Payroll Giving is that you receive an immediate tax credit for your donations instead of having to claim for a tax rebate at the end of the year. For every dollar you donate you get 33.33 cents back as a tax credit. The credit reduces the amount of PAYE you pay. If you donate $15 per week, the Government will pay $5 of this per week meaning that only $10 will be deducted from your pay.

Sponsor Hard Feed & Hay
HARD FEED: All our horses are fed throughout the year ensuring they receive all the required minerals and supplements so they can perform at their peak. Deficiencies in these can lead to unwanted behaviours. Our annual feed bill is in excess of $12000.
HAY: During the winter months EBOP RDA goes through up to 90 bales of hay a month. Although we do cut our own hay, we often still have to purchase from external sources. Depending on availability this can cost anywhere between $10 – $20 per bale.
Contact us if you can help.
Sponsor Horse Health
It is imperative that our horse’s health is in peak condition. Ongoing costs to keep the horses in great health includes.
FARRIER: Our horses have the feet trimmed every 6-7 weeks depending on the season. Most of our horses are bare foot, but a few need shoes in order to be able to perform effectively. Our farrier bill PER VISIT is around $850
ANNUAL VET CHECK: $200 Per year per horse
ANNUAL DENTAL CHECK: Each 12 months our horses receive a visit from the dentist to ensure their mouths are healthy and comfortable. This bill is around $1000
